The Galeras volcano in Columbia, near the border with Ecuador and about 300 miles southwest of the capital of Bogota, seems to be getting ready to erupt. Officials have ordered a mandatory evacuation, though the warning level remains at Level 2, which means a probable (but not definite?) eruption within days or weeks. CNN.com
