9:01 PM - Galeras Volcano Preparing to Erupt?

The Galeras volcano in Columbia, near the border with Ecuador and about 300 miles southwest of the capital of Bogota, seems to be getting ready to erupt. Officials have ordered a mandatory evacuation, though the warning level remains at Level 2, which means a probable (but not definite?) eruption within days or weeks. CNN.com

I'll post more if/when the situation progresses.
